Peugeot 508

Greetings from France! Retromobile was a bit overwhelming today. I'm going again tomorrow to catch what I missed.

As for cars on the streets, they were a bit underwhelming. A lot of anonymous compacts. The coolest car by far that I've seen was a Mercedes Loomis armored truck like this one.

The car that has been catching my eye a lot is the Peugeot 508. I think it's probably because of the taillights' three vertical bars.

They assemble 508 and 301 in Kazakhstan but they are not as popular as they could be. The reason is retarded marketing and stupid dealership network. Peugeot 301 is also used as a police car in Astana, capital of KZ.

BTW I see Retromobile gets a lot of coverage this year in media. I think it's because of the Baillon Collection.

I really like photos of scale models in your Twitter feed. Take more please. The 2900 Euro Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B LM tubular chassis is amazing. I ordered almost the exactly same model in 1:18 scale two days back!

The vertical lights are, I suppose, meant to be reminiscent of the first-gen Peugeot 504 coupe/convertible taillights
